Limpet, lighting sculpture, creates a space within a space. Private moments are precious commodities when finding yourself in tight setups. Suspended from the ceiling our illuminated shell, a small room, provides visual and spatial solace.
With a simple pulling mechanism the limpet could be open to the space or closed. The fixture is made of a lightweight aluminum frame with a textured fabric enclosure.
The sculpture is the semi-permanent evolution of our limpet hat, conceived to offer a mother space for reflection and shielding during Covid lockdown.
